Mark Niebergal, Owner

Mark Niebergal was born in Brandon, Manitoba and moved to

British Columbia at a young age.  His father was a floorlayer and

taught him the trade, with Mark receiving his journeyman

certification after finishing school.  He married in 1989, moved to

Chilliwack, and opened Chilliwack Floors in 1990.  He has operated

the business ever since, employing approximately 20 sales and

installation staff.  Mark has raised his three children in Chilliwack

and plans to retire in the area.

Cristine Grimard is the first face you see when you come to

Chilliwack Floors Carpet One.  As Showroom Manager, it is her aim

to make your experience at Chilliwack Floors as seamless and

enjoyable as possible.  From your initial consultation to the final

payment and beyond, Cristine takes care of a million little details.

Customer service is her top priority and even though her main

function is in a support role, she loves to help customers find that

perfect floor, tile backsplash, paint colour, grout…you get the

picture!

Cristine has been with Chilliwack Floors Carpet One since fall

2002.  Prior to that, she was a stay at home mom, volunteering at

her children’s school for nearly 10 years.  Cristine is married and

has three grown children and one grandchild.  Her interests are

family, friends, hiking, and gardening.

Lori Goertzen has been with Chilliwack Floors Carpet One since

the summer of 2003.  Prior to her floor covering career, Lori

worked in the home furnishing industry in sales and then as sales

manager, working with product selection, staffing, marketing and

merchandising.  She has been in the home décor business for over

25 years.

As one of our top sales staff, Lori has an impressive array of skills

at your disposal.  She is accomplished in home renovations, new

construction, window coverings and commercial facilities working

closely with designers if requested to find that perfect mix

function and beauty that we all look for in our environment.

Lori’s eye for balance and design, her attention to detail and her

accumulated knowledge of products and best practices makes her

Mario has been in the flooring industry since 1975. He owned and

operated a successful flooring store for 23 years in Abbotsford

before selling in January 2012 to move to the Chilliwack area.
